Life ‘trailer’ at Hack the Barbican.

I was touched by the warmth and energy of the organisers of Life( Bildung) http://life-agency.org/ Anna Clifford and Miloslav Vorlicek and was impressed by their ability to put each of the 25 participants at ease. They graciously dovetailed a number of different disciplines into an interesting but uncannily connected whole. These young curators are remarkable.

My participation in Hack the Barbican last Wednesday evening, wrapping, tying and dipping the palest of pink rubber gloves, was a piece of performance, for it cannot be given any other name, and was far beyond anything I have ever done before. Yet it was as the title suggested a little ‘trailer’ of my life…including…at least metaphorically, the kitchen sink!
